Using the Client Agents

Starting and stopping the Client Agent for UNIX

To start the UNIX agent:

  1. Log in as root.

  2. Typing the following at the command line:

    uagent start

To stop the UNIX agent:

  1. Log in as root.

  2. Typing the following at the command line:

    uagent stop

To check the status of the UNIX agent:

  1. Log in as root.

  2. Typing the following command:

    uagent status
