Installing and configuring the SCO OpenServer 5 Client Agent

To install the Client Agent for SCO OpenServer:

1. Log in as root.

2. If the Client Agent package is on CD, mount the CD to an available directory. For example:
   
   mount -r /dev/cd0 /mnt

3. Start the Software Manager in any one of the following ways:

   • Double-click on the Software Manager icon in the System Administration window on the desktop.

   • Start the SCOadmin launcher by entering scoadmin on the command line, then select Software Manager.

   • Enter scoadmin software manager on the command line.

4. Select Install New from the Software menu.

5. Select Media Image and type:
   
   /mnt/info/as6agent/sco5

6. Select the ARCserveIT Unix Client Agent and click Install.

7. After the OpenServer Client Agent is installed, select Exit from the Host menu.
