Installing and configuring Client Agents

Licensing the Client Agent for UnixWare 7

NOTE: You do not need to add a Client Agent license to the ARCserveIT host system. If you wish to back up the host system from another ARCserveIT server, the host system requires a valid license.

To add a license for the Client Agent for UnixWare 7:

As root, log in to the client system.
Start the License Manager in one of these ways:
- Run the SCOadmin launcher from the Desktop and select License Manager.
- Enter scoadmin license on the command line.
Select the ARCserveIT SCO UNIX Client Agent.
Select License Add.
Enter the License Number, License Code, and License Data from the Certificate of License and Authenticity (COLA) for your ARCserveIT product or option.
Click on License.
