Installing and configuring Client Agents

Licensing the Client Agent for UnixWare 7


NOTE: You do not need to add a Client Agent license to the ARCserveIT host system. If you wish to back up the host system from another ARCserveIT server, the host system requires a valid license.

To add a license for the Client Agent for UnixWare 7:

  1. As root, log in to the client system.

  2. Start the License Manager in one of these ways:

  3. Select the ARCserveIT SCO UNIX Client Agent.

  4. Select License -> Add.

  5. Enter the License Number, License Code, and License Data from the Certificate of License and Authenticity (COLA) for your ARCserveIT product or option.

  6. Click on License.
