Installing the Client Agent for Windows platforms.

To install the Client Agent on Microsoft Windows 3.1x, Windows 95/98, or Windows NT workstation:

1. Log onto the Windows system you want to back up.

2. Insert the Optional Services media into the media device.

3. Find the directory that contains the Client Agent for the Windows platform you wish to install:

   • /info/as6agent/win3x for Windows 3.x

   • /info/as6agent/win9x for Windows 95/98

   • /info/as6agent/winnt for Windows NT

4. Run setup.exe.

   The installation program will take you through the necessary steps to properly install the Microsoft Windows Client agent onto your system.
