Licensing ARCserveIT products and options
Licenses are required to activate the functionality for
the following ARCserveIT products
and options:

ARCserveIT from Computer Associates (base product)
-
ARCserveIT Changer Option
-
ARCserveIT SCO UNIX Client Agents
NOTE:
The Base edition of UnixWare 7 includes only a 60-day evaluation
license for ARCserveIT. If you have installed the Base edition of
UnixWare 7 and wish to purchase a license to use ARCserveIT past the
60-day expiration, see your SCO reseller.

Client Agents for the supported Microsoft Windows platforms do not need
licenses.
To add licenses for your ARCserveIT products
and options:

As root, log in to the system where the
ARCserveIT package has been installed.

Start the License Manager in one of these ways:

Run the SCOadmin launcher from the Desktop
and select License Manager.

Enter scoadmin license on the command line.

Choose the ARCserveIT product or option
that you wish to license from the list of products.

Select
License
Add.
-
Enter the License Number, License Code, and License Data
from the Certificate of License and Authenticity (COLA)
for your ARCserveIT product or option.

Click on License.
