Starting, stopping, and checking the status of ARCserveIT
After you have configured ARCserveIT using asetup,
you can issue commands to start, stop, and
check the status of ARCserveIT.
To start ARCserveIT, type:
/usr/sbin/astart
To stop the ARCserveIT service, type:
/usr/sbin/astop
NOTE:
If you perform astop to stop all ARCserve daemons, you
will need to close the browser which is currently connected to
the server.
To check the status of any ARCserveIT daemons, type:
/opt/ARCserveIT/bin/astatus
The default daemons for ARCserveIT are:

ascommd

|
asloggered
|
httpd
|
|
asdiscovd
|
|
|
asdbd
|
|

|
|
NOTE:
Please note that these are the default daemons that are set with
the arcserve.cfg file. For more information on this file, see the
