Upgrading to ARCserveIT
When The UnixWare 7 release 7.1 update is installed, SCO
ARCserve/Open 2.2 is automatically removed. Important configuration
files, such as the Job queue and the ARCserve/Open database, are
retained should you want to migrate these to ARCserveIT.
To migrate your SCO ARCserve/Open configuration files to
ARCserveIT:
NOTE:
SCO ARCserve/Open 2.2x is not supported on UnixWare 7.1.

Install the UnixWare 7 release 7.1 update.
ARCserve/Open is automatically removed from the system.

If you deferred installing ARCserveIT when installing the UnixWare 7
release 7.1 update, install it now. Follow the directions provided in:
``Installing ARCserveIT ''

Once ARCserveIT is installed, you must configure it. Type:
asetup

In order to migrate the ARCserve/Open Database and/or Job queue
the ARCserveIT processes must be running. To start ARCserveIT, type:
astart

You are now ready to migrate the ARCserve/Open configuration data.

To migrate the ARCserve/Open database, type:
/usr/sbin/asdbupgrade

To migrate the ARCserve/Open Job queue, type:
/usr/sbin/as_jobqcvt
