Session Password (Global level)

To enhance network security, you can specify a session/encryption password for the entire backup job. To do this, use the Session Password tab accessed from the (Global) Options screens. To apply a single password to all the sessions included in a backup job:

1. Click the Set button located to the right of the Session/Encyption Password field.

2. Enter a password into the field Session Password field.

3. Re-enter the password into the Confirm Password field.

It is important to remember this password. If you ever want to restore anything from this backup job, you must enter the session password at the time of restore.
