Adding a device group and assigning a device

Follow these directions to add device groups:

1. Make sure you have root or root equivalent privileges.

2. Click the Device Group Configuration button.

3. Click New.

4. Enter a group name into the New Group field, then click OK.

5. Highlight the device group you want to add the device to.

6. Select an available device from the Available Devices list.

7. Click Assign from the Configuration window.

You must assign a device to the newly created device group in order for the new settings to take effect.

8. Repeat steps 3 through 7 to add more groups and devices.

9. If you are finished adding device groups, click OK to exit the Configuration screen.

10. To save the changes made, select Yes.
