Getting help

SCOhelp installation fails on S5 filesystem

If you try to install UnixWare 7 documentation on an S5 filesystem, the installation fails. This is because S5 filesystems support filenames of 14 characters or fewer and the UnixWare 7 documentation contains filenames longer than 14 characters.

To solve this problem install the documentation on a filesystem that supports long filenames, for example, vxfs. See ``Managing filesystem types'' for more information on filesystem types and ``Installing, managing, and removing software'' for information on installing software.
