Topic style guidelines
Use these guidelines to conform to SCO documentation style:
-
In general, HTML files should contain a typical hierarchy
of headings using a single <H1> at the top that matches the <TITLE>
element, and subheadings using tags such as <H2> and <H3>.
-
Break up long documents into many smaller documents to speed loading.
Keep in mind that documents with many graphics take a longer time to load.
-
SCO style does not number sections, however numbering is permitted.
-
There is currently no browser support for the <LINK> elements that
identify Next and Previous documents in a sequence.
The author must supply such links within the document.
The
``Topic template''
gives an example of the HTML tags for guide material.
