Invoking the DCU

You can invoke the DCU using any one of the following methods:

• During initial system installation, you are prompted as to whether you want to enter the DCU.

• Choose SCOadmin from the SCO menu (above the SCO logo) on the CDE desktop, then select Hardware, then select Device Configuration Utility. Or you can simply enter scoadmin dev on the command-line.

• From the system console or a terminal window, type su to become root, and execute the /sbin/dcu command.
