Managing Hot-plugable controllers

The Hot-plug Manager interface

Use the Hot-plug Manager to remove, add or replace a PCI-based controller on a running system. You can start the Hot-plug Manager in any of these ways:


NOTE: You must have root privilege to run the Hot-plug Manager.
