Managing Hot-plugable controllers

Hot-plug machines provide the capability to physically add, remove or replace a controller on a ``hot'' (running) system. Typically, hot-plug machines have a built-in hot-plug controller, and power can be turned on or off to selected slots.

``The Hot-plug Manager interface'' provides a convenient, interactive way to perform most hot-plug administration.


NOTE: This release of the Hot-plug Manager supports only PCI-based controllers.
