Using dialers

For dialing, both cu and UUCP use a dialer defined by an entry in /etc/uucp/Devices. The dialer can be:

• an entry in the /etc/uucp/Dialers file, see ``Dialers file entries''

• a symbolic link to atdialer together with a suitable configuration file in /etc/uucp/default, see ``atdialer''
