Multilink global bundle options

You can configure the following multilink options to be applied to all incoming connections:

MRRU offered on incoming links

The size of the maximum received reconstructed unit (MRRU) which will be offered on incoming connections. This must be defined if multilink connections are required.

NOTE: It is suggested that the value configured for the MRRU should be at least 6 bytes smaller than the maximum receive unit (MRU) that is set in the Link Control Protocol for the member links of the bundle.

Use short sequence numbers on incoming links

Whether short sequence numbering is enabled for incoming connections. If enabled, PPP informs the peer that it wishes to receive fragments with short, 12-bit sequence numbers rather than 24-bit sequence numbers.

Use endpoint discrimination on incoming links

Whether endpoint discrimination is enabled for incoming connections. A system's endpoint discriminator identifies it to its peer when it tries to create a new multilink bundle or to add a link to an existing multilink bundle.

Common telephone number prefix

The common prefix for advertised phone numbers. This is used when BAP/BACP is available and has been negotiated. Only link devices which have phone numbers that share the prefix can be used to add links to a multilink bundle. This may be used to prevent other remote access servers at the same site being dialed in error.

Number of unique digits in telephone number

The number of unique digits that may be appended to the common prefix for advertised phone numbers. The actual extension numbers must be configured for each individual link device.
