Global IPX/SPX configuration parameters

Internal network number

Specifies a network address in hexadecimal for access from multiple LANs. The internal network number must be unique on all network segments; it must also not conflict with any external network number.

NOTE: You must specify an internal network number if the host is directly connected to more than one network segment on which IPX/SPX is in use.

You may want to change this parameter if conflicts develop as new servers are added to the network, or numbering conventions change.

See also the description of the ipx_internal_network parameter on the nwcm(1Mipx) manual page.
