The LDAP Manager

Specifying a preferred editor

At various points in the configuration process, the LDAP Manager loads a configuration file into an editor in response to the Edit button being clicked. By default, the editor used is vi(1), but this can be changed according to taste.

In order to do this, select the Options -> Editor preferences menu option. Enter the pathname of the preferred editor, for example /usr/bin/emacs, and click on OK.
