At a number of points, the LDAP Manager will prompt for the path and name of a configuration file. The interface employed is the same in all cases, and is described in this topic.
Clicking on the Select button of the calling window displays a standard scoadmin path and filename selection screen. Once the selection has been made, click on OK, and control to returned to the calling window. If the contents of the specified file need be changed, click on the Edit button. A text edit window appears. (A warning message is displayed if the specified file does not already exist, along with a prompt about whether the LDAP Manager should create it or not.) See ``Specifying a preferred editor'' for details of how to select a non-default editor.
When the necessary additions or changes have been made to contents of the file, click on OK, and control is returned to the calling window. Note that clicking on the calling window's OK button indicates both that the configuration file has been correctly selected and that the contents of that file are as desired.
