Editing a daemon configuration

To edit the configuration details of an existing daemon, select the Daemon Modify menu option sequence. Note that in order to do this, the daemon must be in the ``down'' state. Selecting a daemon that is currently in the ``up'' state causes the LDAP Manager to issue a prompt about whether to deactivate the daemon. Click on the OK or Cancel button, as appropriate.

The data entry fields supplied by the ``Configure LDAP daemon'' screen have the same function as those displayed by the ``Create LDAP daemon'' screen (see ``Adding a daemon to the system'').
