The LDAP Manager

Editing a daemon configuration

To edit the configuration details of an existing daemon, select the Daemon -> Modify menu option sequence. Note that in order to do this, the daemon must be in the ``down'' state. Selecting a daemon that is currently in the ``up'' state causes the LDAP Manager to issue a prompt about whether to deactivate the daemon. Click on the OK or Cancel button, as appropriate.

The data entry fields supplied by the ``Configure LDAP daemon'' screen have the same function as those displayed by the ``Create LDAP daemon'' screen (see ``Adding a daemon to the system'').
