The LDAP Manager

Starting up the LDAP Manager

Once LDAP is installed, you can start up the graphical Manager interface by logging in as root, and typing the following command:

scoadmin ldap

Note that any arguments to the scoadmin(1M) command are case-insensitive, so entering scoadmin LDAP has the same effect.

Otherwise, start up scoadmin, open the Networking folder, and select ``LDAP Manager''.

NOTE: The LDAP SCOadmin manager cannot be run as system owner; it must be run as root.
