Administering NetWare Services (NWS)
These topics describe the installation, use and administration of the
UnixWare NetWare Services systems. These provide a fully-integrated
IPX/SPX-based networking environment to be used as an
alternative to, or in conjunction with, the standard TCP/IP-based
UnixWare networking environment.
The NetWare transport protocols, IPX/SPX, RIP,
SAP and so on, are described in detail in
NetWare transport protocols,
as is the NetWare/IP system that permits the use of NWS
over IP.
The programming interfaces for NetWare applications development are
described in
NetWare applications programming,
whose topics should be used in conjunction with the
Section 3nw manual pages.
