Using the NetWare console from UnixWare

XCONSOLE keyboard commands

The table below shows the keyboard commands provided by the XCONSOLE NLM. You can display a help screen showing this information at any time while using the remote console by pressing <Ctrl>w.

Press <Ctrl> and follow with one of the keys shown in the left-hand column (case insensitive) to emulate keys not available on your keyboard or to execute XCONSOLE commands:

Press <Alt> (or press and release <Ctrl>a) and follow with a hexadecimal digit to emulate these function keys:

For X11 terminals, keypad `+', `-', when available, can be used to change screens forward and backward.

For VT100 terminals, keypad `-' will change to the previous screen, and some emulators allow keypad `+' to change to the next screen.

Escape is <Esc> on X terminals and PC emulators (<F11> on a VT100 terminal).
