PURGE
Permanently remove deleted files.
Synopsis
PURGE [filename | path] [option
... ] [/A][/? | /VER]
Description
Use PURGE at a workstation to permanently remove previously
deleted files from the workstation. Note that this utility removes the
files from your client system only. It does not remove any of the files
on the NetWare server.
Options
- filename

Specify the file you want to purge.
- path

Specify the path leading to and including the file you want to purge.
- /A
-
Purge all files in the current directory and in subdirectories.
- /?
-
View online help. (Other parameters are ignored.)
- /VER
-
View the version number of the utility and the files it uses to execute.
(Other parameters are ignored.)
Usage
If you do not use /A, PURGE removes only the files
in your current directory.
You must have the Delete right to the directory.
If you do not specify deleted files to be removed, all files are removed,
whether you own them or not.
Examples

To purge all files in the current directory, type:
PURGE
.

To purge all .RPT files in the current directory and its
subdirectories, type:
PURGE
.RPT /A
