SETTTS

Manage TTS record locks.

Synopsis

SETTTS [logical [physical] [/? | /VER]

Description

Use SETTTS at a workstation to:

Options

logical
Set the logical level (using a number from 0 to 254). You can also use /D to disable the logical level, and /N to reset the logical level back to the default setting(0).

physical
Set the physical level (using a number from 0 to 254). You can also use /D to disable the physical level, and /N to reset the physical level back to the default setting (0).

/?
View online help. (Other parameters are ignored.)

/VER
View the version number of the utility and the files it uses to execute. (Other parameters are ignored.)

Usage

When you log out or turn off your workstation, settings are reset to 0.

TTS values are 0 to 254. The levels indicate how many record locks TTS will ignore before tracking the transaction.

Setting it to 1 means that TTS tracks each transaction; setting it to 254 means that TTS ignores 253 record locks before it tracks.

255 or D disables a level.
