SYSTIME

Synchronize workstation date and time with server.

Synopsis

SYSTIME [server] [/? | /VER]

Description

Use SYSTIME at a workstation to synchronize the date and time set on your workstation with those of the server.

Options

server

Specify the server you want to synchronize with.

/?

View online help. (Other parameters are ignored.)

/VER

View the version number of the utility and the files it uses to execute. (Other parameters are ignored.)

Examples

• To synchronize your workstation's date and time with those of the default server, type:
  
  SYSTIME

• To synchronize your workstation's date and time with those of server SCOTTY, type:
  
  SYSTIME SCOTTY

• To synchronize your workstation's date and time with those of server SCOTTY in another context, type:
  
  SYSTIME .SCOTTY.COMPANYB.US
