Changing or unloading a packet filter

To change the packet filter definition that is currently applied to an interface using the Packet Filter Manager:

1. Select Filter Interface, choose the interface to which the filter will be applied, and click on OK.

2. Select the filter to be applied from those listed, and then select Filter Load.

3. Select to apply the filter to one or both of the incoming and outgoing streams.

4. Click on OK to load the filter.

To remove filtering from an interface:

1. Select Filter Interface, choose the interface from which filtering is to be removed, and click on OK.

2. Select Filter Unload.

3. Select whether filtering is to be removed from one or both of the incoming and outgoing streams of the interface.

4. Click on OK to unload the filter(s).
