Customizing what's logged

Use the Profile Editor to customize the information the VisionFS server writes to log files. If you want, you can choose to log just failed operations, or just particular operations you're interested in.

To customize what's logged:

  1. In the Profile Editor, double-click the server entry and select the Logging tab.

  2. In Logged Events, select Custom, then click Define.

  3. In the Custom Events dialog, log something new by selecting the Category, Action, and Outcome you want to log. Then, click Add. Select (all) in the lists to mean all Categories, Actions, or Outcomes as appropriate.

To remove something you don't want to log, select an entry in the list, then click Remove.
