Organization object property standards

Use the following information standards in the Organization object properties.

Identification page properties

Property	Suggested standards
Description	Enter a brief description of the Organization's job functionality.
email Address	Use the email address of the company or organization (such as an Internet address).
Fax Number	Use the full fax format found in the company's telephone directory.
Location	Use the current location names found in the company's telephone directory. If the organization is located in different geographical areas, put all locations in the field.
Name	Enter the full name of the Organization that is associated with this container. For example, instead of SED, enter ``Systems Engineering Division''.
Other Name	No standard necessary.
Telephone Number	Use the full telephone format found in the company's telephone directory. A telephone number can consist of the following information, separated by hyphens: outside code (for outside line) access code (for long distance) country code city code area code prefix number main number extension Note that if an extension is required, insert a space, rather than a hyphen, between the main number and the extension number. For example: 1-801-555-1234 7698.
