Informational leaf objects

This topic lists the available leaf objects that exist only to store information about network resources, explains what each is used for, and indicates when to use each.

Leaf object Function Usage situation
Computer Represents a nonserver network computer, such as a workstation or a router.
Use this object to store information about a non-server computer, such as its network address, its serial number, or the person it's assigned to.
This object has no effect on network operations; it only stores information about the computer.
