Supplemental print utilities

In addition to the three core printing utilities, NetWare Services provides several supplemental utilities, designed to meet specific printing needs for users on DOS, Windows, or OS/2 workstations. These utilities are not available for UnixWare clients.

The following table describes these utilities:

Utility	Tasks
NetWare User Tools (Windows, OS/2)	Enables users to access network resources, map drives, set up printing, and send messages. Printing tasks include setting printer options, connecting and disconnecting print queues, and making print queue connections permanent.For information on the NetWare Tools, see NetWare Client for DOS and Windows User Guide and NetWare Client for OS/2 User Guide.
CAPTURE (DOS, OS/2)	Redirects workstation output to a network printer or file. For information on CAPTURE, see ``Using CAPTURE''.
NPRINT (DOS, OS/2)	Prints files from outside applications. For information on NPRINT, see ``Using NPRINT''.
NETUSER (DOS)	Captures workstation output to a network printer, prints files from outside an application, and monitors print queues. Sends, redirects, monitors, modifies, or deletes print jobs.For information on NETUSER, see ``The NETUSER and PSC utilities''.
PRINTCON (DOS)	Creates, modifies, and deletes print job configurations to simplify using the CAPTURE, NPRINT, and PCONSOLE utilities. For information on PRINTCON, see ``Printing tasks handled through PRINTCON''.
PRINTDEF (DOS)	Defines printer forms for use in CAPTURE, NPRINT, and print job configurations. Defines print devices in a database for use in print job configurations. For information on PRINTDEF, see ``Printing tasks handled through PRINTDEF''.
