Setting up print services with NetWare administrator

This topic describes how to set up a basic printing environment using the NetWare Administrator graphical utility.

1. Connect printers to the network in any of the following ways:

   • To the network cable (network-attached printers)

   • To the parallel or serial port of a workstation

   • To the parallel or serial port of a NetWare server

2. Enter NetWare Administrator and select the container object that you want to create printing objects in.

3. The following steps use the Organizational Unit ``Sales'' under Organization ``Acme''. After completing these steps, the printing objects appear in the NetWare Administrator browser.
