Troubleshooting jobs stuck in ready status
If your job is stuck in ``Ready'' status,
the printing configuration may not be complete:
-
The print server may not be set up
to service the printer.

The print server may not be assigned to
the queue.

The queue may not be assigned to the
printer.
-
An operator flag may be set for the
queue in PCONSOLE to not allow
service by current print servers. Select the
queue and then Status from the
Print Queue Information menu.
Other possibilities include the following:

The job may be waiting for a new
form to be mounted.

Other jobs may be ahead of this job
in the queue.

The printer may be servicing another queue with
a higher priority.

The printer may have been stopped. Check the
status of the printer in PCONSOLE or at
the print server console.
