At the DOS prompt, type
FILER
A list of available options appears.
Your current context, Volume object, and path are
shown in the upper left corner of the
screen. Make sure you are in the correct
location in the Directory tree when you create
the new directory.

Select ``Manage Files and Directories''.
The ``Directory Contents'' list appears.

Find and select the volume, directory, or subdirectory
in which you want to create a new
directory by completing the following steps:

If the item you want appears on the
list, select it and press <Ins>.

If the item is not on the list,
browse a directory by selecting it and pressing
<Enter> until you see the item you want.
Select it and press <Ins>.

If you cannot find what you want, check
the Volume object name in the upper left
corner of the screen. If you are in
the wrong volume, you can change it by
returning to the
Available Options menu and
choosing Select Current Directory.

When you are prompted, type the name of
the new directory and press <Enter>.
The directory or subdirectory is created. After you
create it, you can change default attributes, assign
rights, and make trustee assignments for the directory
or subdirectory.

To exit, press
<Esc> until the menu you want appears.
