Viewing a trustee's effective rights using NetWare Administrator
The following list describes the prerequisites:

A 386 or later workstation and NetWare Administrator

The Access Control right to the file or
directory, and the Read property right to the
trustee object's ACL property
Carry out the following procedure:

From the Windows Program Manager or the OS/2
desktop, click on the ``NetWare Administrator'' icon.

Using the browser, select a directory or file.
For information on moving around in the browser
and selecting objects, choose Help
from the menu bar.

From the Object menu, choose Details.

From the ``Identification'' page, choose ``Trustees of This Directory''.

Select the trustee whose effective rights you want
to view.

Choose ``Effective Rights''.
The selected trustee's effective rights are bolded in
the ``Effective Rights'' box.

(Optional) To view a different object's rights to
this directory or file, choose the browser button
to the right of the ``Trustee'' text box
and select an object from the browser.

To return to the browser, choose Cancel.
