Deleting a NetWare server object using PARTMGR
The following list describes the prerequesites:

A workstation running DOS 3.30 or later and
PARTMGR.

A minimum of 512KB of memory available
on the workstation.

The Supervisor right to the container of the
Server object you want to delete.

Create a new master replica (if a master
replica is stored on the NetWare Server object).

Carry out the following procedure:

At the DOS prompt, bring down the server by typing
DOWN

At the workstation DOS prompt, type
PARTMGR
-
From the Partition Administration menu,
select Manage Partitions.
Your current context appears in the upper left
corner of the screen.

Select the NetWare Server you want to delete.

If the server appears on the list, select
it and press <Del>.

If the server is not on the list,
browse the directory by selecting objects and pressing
<Enter> until you see the server you want.
Select it and press <Del>.
The NetWare Server object is deleted from the
NDS database.
NOTE:
It may take a long time for all
the other servers to know that a server
is down. You should wait several minutes after
downing a server before deleting it.
