Re-installing NDS on a server

This procedure re-installs NDS on a server. It does not preserve the trustee assignments from the first time NDS was installed on the server: you must make those assignments again.

The following list describes the prerequesites:

• Access to scoadmin(1M); you must also be the System Owner.

• The Supervisor object right to the container in which you want to install the server

1. From scoadmin, select NetWare, then select the Directory Services Install utility.

2. Select Install Directory Services onto this Server, and press <Enter>.

3. Install NetWare Directory Services on the server.

   To select a Directory tree and install NDS on the server, follow the instructions in ``Installing NetWare Services''.

4. Exit Directory Services Install.
