Using the advanced options
Use this procedure to access the ``Advanced Options'' for manual repair
of the Directory database.
If you want the Directory database to be repaired automatically, use
the options available from the ``Unattended Full Repair'' option in
the main menu. See
``Running an unattended full repair''
for more information.
The following list describes the prerequesites:

Access to
scoadmin(1M)

Administer NetWare Server permission to UnixWare
Carry out the following procedure:

From scoadmin, select NetWare, then select the
Directory Services Repair utility.

Select the Advanced options.

Select the repair operation you want to perform.
The following options are supplied:

Log file and login configuration

Repair local DS database
-
Servers known to this database
-
View remote server ID list
-
Replica and partition operations
-
Check external references
-
Security equivalence synchronization
-
Global schema update
-
View/Edit repair log file
-
Create a database dump file
-
Return to main menu
