Copying a login script using NetWare administrator

Use the following instructions to copy all or part of a login script and paste it into another object's login script.

The following list describes the prerequisities:

Carry out the following steps:

  1. From the Windows Program Manager or the OS/2 desktop, click on the ``NetWare Administrator'' icon.

  2. Using the browser, select the object whose login script you want to copy.

    For information about moving around in the browser and selecting objects, choose Help from the menu bar.

  3. From the Object menu, choose Details.

    Choose the ``Login Script'' page.

  4. In the login script text box, highlight the text you want to copy.

  5. Press <Ctrl><Ins> to copy the highlighted text.

    The highlighted text has been placed in clipboard memory and can be pasted into another login script.

  6. To save the login script and close the ``Details'' dialog box, choose OK.

  7. Using the browser, select the object whose login script you want to paste the copied text into.

  8. From the Object menu, choose Details.

  9. Choose the ``Login Script'' page.

  10. In the login script text box, place the cursor where you want the copied text to appear.

  11. Press <Space><Ins> to paste the copied text into the login script.

  12. To save the login script and close the ``Details'' dialog box, choose OK.
