Maintaining the NetWare server

Using Novell virtual terminal

NVT2® (Novell Virtual Terminal®) allows you to use Novell's network protocols to gain a remote login to a UnixWare host. The NVT2 utility connects workstations as personal computer terminals to host systems that run Novell's network protocols.

If you select UNIX as the method of file access control (see ``File access control''), you should set up all DOS or Windows workstations with NVT so that these users can access UnixWare utilities to set up security on the files they create and own.

For information on NVT2, see Terminal Emulators for DOS/Windows.
