Administering SCO systems

Backing up and restoring files

Backup and restore facilities are used to create copies of your stored data, usually on removable media like tapes or floppies, so you can restore the data later in case it is lost or destroyed. UnixWare includes ARCserveIT from Computer Associates, which provides full backup and restore services. See ``Backup and Restore'' in the online documentation for more information.
