/etc/default/useradd
This file may contain the following parameters
that provide default values for the
useradd(1M)
command:
- SHELL

full pathname of user's login shell
- HOMEDIR
-
base directory in which to create user's home directory
- SKELDIR
-
directory that contains skeleton information
(such as a .profile
file) to be copied to the user's home directory
- GROUPID
-
default group ID
- INACT
-
the maximum number of days allowed
between uses of a login name
- EXPIRE
-
the date on which a login name can no longer be used
- FORCED_PASS
-
a password generator, defined for the user
- AUDIT_MASK
-
default user audit mask;
valid only if the Auditing Utilities
are installed and running on the system
