Displaying and changing parameters

There are several ways to display current values for parameters.

• You can use the /usr/sbin/sysdef command to get a subset of the current parameter values in the present configuration of your system. See sysdef(1M).

• Values for internet (TCP/IP) parameters can be viewed using the inconfig command with the name of the parameter you are interested in. See inconfig(1Mtcp).

• Use idtune -g or the System Tuner to view kernel parameters. See idtune(1M) or ``Changing tunable parameters with the System Tuner''.
