Troubleshooting system-level problems

Troubleshooting with the UnixWare Webtop

The System Troubleshooting section of the UnixWare Webtop incorporates an easy-to- use graphical interface providing immediate information about possible problems with the system. The main System Troubleshooting page provides links to five individual Troubleshooting areas and indicates whether any problems currently exist in these areas. Each Troubleshooting area (File Volumes, File Sharing, Networks, Printers, and Processes) allows administrators to see information on the status of the system and to perform simple tasks to resolve problems. Where appropriate, the Troubleshooting areas contain links to SCOadmin managers for higher level problem-solving.

For more information about how to use the System Troubleshooting and System Administration sections of the Webtop, click on the Help link on any main Webtop page and choose UnixWare Webtop System Administration Guide from the list of available documentation.
