Managing groups

Groups allow you to control access to files and directories by creating ``workgroups''. These tasks are associated with groups:

• Adding or modifying a group

• Removing a group

• Changing user login groups

• Changing a user's group membership

• Setting the group ID for file creation in a directory

• Changing the limit on simultaneous group membership
