Following are the basic steps for restoring your files using the default restore options.
1. From the ARCserveIT server's home page, select Restore.
The default Restore source view "Restore by File System" will be selected.
2. Select the Host and the files you want to restore, from the source browser.
3. Select the Destination tab and then specify the destination (where you want the files to go).
Make sure that the destination path is correct by expanding the tree until the destination path reflects where you want the restored files to go.
4. Click the Submit 
button to run the job.
ARCserveIT will then display a dialog box listing which media is required for the restore job. Make sure the media is currently loaded in the selected device.
ARCserveIT's advanced restore features allow you to: change your restore device source, select a restore source view, in addition to adding options to your restore job.
