Creating a Server group

When selected, a Server group will display only the job queues associated with the ARCserveIT servers contained in that group.

Once created, a Server group can customize the view of these server's job queues, by selecting only to show certain fields when displaying jobs.

Steps for creating a Server group

The Add Group dialog box will be displayed.

The Job Status Manager will display the new group as part of the ARCserveIT Server's tree structure. ARCserveIT servers can now be added to the created group. See `Assigning servers to a Server group' on page 8-17 for more information.
