Deleting a device group

Follow the steps below to delete a device group:

You must have logged in as arcroot (or have equivalent privileges) before being able to add device groups.

The Device Group Configuration screen will be displayed

ARCserveIT will present a dialog box that will initiate the required tasks in order for the additions and/or configuration changes made to take affect.

Config writes your new device group configuration to ARCserveIT's asmediad.cfg file and causes the Media Server to re-start. You must then re-access the Device Manager window in order for the new settings to take effect.
