Ejecting media

You can eject media from ARCserveIT's Device Manager, if your drives support this feature. You need the proper operating privileges to perform this function.

If you try to eject media from a drive that does not support the eject feature, ARCserveIT will think that the media has been ejected, even though it is still physically in the drive. You will need to walk over to the drive, eject the media, then put it back in for ARCserveIT to see the media again.

Ejecting media

Follow the steps listed to eject media.

1. Select the device drive from which you want to eject the media.

2. Click the Eject button.

3. Click Yes to confirm that you want to eject the media from the drive.
