This report provides a brief historical record of all backups performed on a target. The report lists the set the target belongs to and each of the backups that were performed. For each backup, the media name, date, session number, backup type, status, number of files backed up, and the amount of data backed up is listed.
Unless your user profile is configured with the proper permissions, when you view this log you will only see information about the GFS rotation jobs you submitted. In order to see information about all of the GFS rotation jobs, regardless of who submitted them, your profile must be configured with the those permissions. See Setting up User Profiles for more information.
You can view this report to determine when each target was backed up. This can help you decide which backup session to use to restore files.
